Okay So here's the deal ...
I saw this amazingly cute police woman the other day and I had to go talk to her, I realized afterwards that most guys still deny themselves this amazing skill - the ability to approach and say they're interested in a girl, where they could be meeting beautiful, intelligent and outgoing women on a daily basis. You'll only realize how easy it is for yourself when you go out and try it!
No amount of reading or watching can prepare yourself for the REAL DEAL.
There are 8,000,000,000 people on this earth so that means 50% i.e Four BILLION are women. The abundance mentality can really come in handy here, don't get hung up on a bad reaction from one girl, or because this one girl already has a boyfriend as there are another 3,999,999,999 girls to go.

When you are with a friend like this and he is not actually a "wingman", what does he do meanwhile? For instance in the cafe where you walked inside?
