Whether it's the idol you're after or that smoking hot blonde working at the video store you fancy you will face rejection at many points in your life. The key to getting good is persisting after those small rejections and moving forward, this will ultimately bring you closer to your goals.
Rejection is something that everyone goes through at some point or another in their lives. Most of us deal with the hurt and disappointment of rejection and go on, but when the rejection comes from a woman, it seems to be harder to overcome. Avoiding rejection seems like the answer, but eventually that avoidance will turn on you. So, how do you turn the tables on rejection from women?
Try to remember that most rejections that come from a woman aren't about you. It's about them - what they feel at that moment, if they're at a place to meet friends and aren't looking for a guy, they've got a boyfriend, etc. If it wasn't you it would have been someone else.
One of the best ways to handle rejection from a woman is to come back as quickly as you can. You will accomplish this in yourself:
- You won't have time to dwell on the rejection.
- You'll be choosing a more positive outlook.
- You'll realize that you are in control of your situation, not someone else.
When you've experienced rejection from a woman, realize that this means you have second chance to hone your skills. Take the time to go over how you approach a woman. Not in a kick yourself in the ass way, but with some objectivity. You may have not done anything wrong in your approach, but this gives you a little time to think about it and make corrections, if any are needed.
If you're still a little shell-shocked, then take it easy. Relax and have fun doing something that you find enjoyable. Don't get caught in the trap of self-loathing and kicking yourself. Take a deep breath. Think of positive and pleasant thing. Then, when you’re a little more composed, get right back at it. Just take smaller steps. Be confident in yourself. When the right girl comes along, you'll be ready.
